Serves: 7 – 9



  • Flour (all purpose) – 500 gm
  • Cold Water – 300 ml
  • One egg
  • Chicken mince 500 gm
  • One big onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper


For dough:

  • Cold water mix with egg, add pinch of salt and mix the flour in
  • You have to end up with quite thick but still elastic dough

For the filling:

  • Blend onion and mix with chicken mince, salt, pepper

For the Sauce

  • Mix dill, yogurt and ketchup together
  • Serve on top of Pelmeni
  • Roll out the dough and place on the pelmenica, stuff each with a little dough and place another rolled sheet of dough over. Separate the individual dumplings and boil in hot water until the just start to float for a min or two. Remove and serve topped with the dill sauce.
