Serves: 6 – 8


  • 300 gm of mutton minced
  • 2 small potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 2 tsp of Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp of coriander powder
  • 2 tsp of  cumin powder
  • 3-4 tsp of chilli powder
  • 3 green chillies – chopped
  • 2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  • a bunch of chopped coriander leaves
  • salt
  • breadcrumbs about ¼ cup for binding
  • egg for dipping


  • Mix all the ingredients except the egg  in a big bowl until its smooth and well blended.
  • Leave it to marinade for a few hours (in the fridge is better)
  • Form small cutlets and dip in the egg before frying.
  • I don’t really deep fry these as shallow frying works just as well but you could deep fry them if you prefer
