viet-beef-salad

Ingredients

  • Thin sliced 3 romance lettuce [1]
  • 1 cup of chopped mint [2]
  • 1 cup of chopped Thai basil [3]
  • 4 thinly sliced citrus [4]
  • 250 gm – thin sliced beef
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

For the dressing:

  • 4 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp fish sauce
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • chopped chilies ( optional )

Method

  • Method- Mix [1,2,3,4] together
  • Marinate beef with 2tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder,

1 tbsp vegetable oil , 1 tbsp of sesame seeds for 30 min and then stir fry ( without oil )

Dressing:

  • For dipping sauce: Mix all ingredients for salad dressing well together
  • In a large salad bowl, add the vegetables mixture, fried beef on top and serve with the salad dressing
