Serve with rice and sliced cucumbers
- 1 kg pork chops
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 4 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp minced lemongrass
- 1 Tbsp pineapple juice
- 1 can of Coke (optional)
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- Combine all the ingredients together and marinate over night.
- Instead of using pineapple juice, the pork chops can be soaked in a can of coke for 20 minutes before marinating (this is to help tenderize the meat).
- Grill on charcoal until both sides are cooked (estimated 8- 12 minutes each side depend on the cut) or place in oven for 10 mins each side on 250 C (480 F).
