Serve with rice and sliced cucumbers


  • 1 kg pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 4 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp minced lemongrass
  • 1 Tbsp pineapple juice
  • 1 can of Coke (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp sugar


  • Combine all the ingredients together and marinate over night.
  • Instead of using pineapple juice, the pork chops can be soaked in a can of coke for 20 minutes before marinating (this is to help tenderize the meat).
  • Grill on charcoal until both sides are cooked (estimated 8- 12 minutes each side depend on the cut) or place in oven for 10 mins each side on 250 C (480 F).
