Serves: 6 – 8

  • 200g sushi grade Ahi tuna, diced small
  • 3 tbsp Grapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp diced (seeded) jalapeno
  • 1 tsp diced ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (black/white, toasted)
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Juice of half of a lime
  • 1 tbsp chives, chopped
  • Salt & pepper


  • Mix together tuna, oil, soy, vinegar, jalapeno, ginger and sesame seeds. In a separate bowl, mix together avocado, lime and some salt & pepper. Put tuna mixture in a bowl. Top with the cucumber. Then top the cucumber with the avocado.
  • Place in refrigerator for a few hours. Turn bowl upside down on a serving dish/plate. Top with chopped chives and serve with chips
